The magic of the Ellouarch elves that shields them from the sight of humans and other races, dangerous or not, stems from the power of the Gloraiden Grove, a group of mighty and mystical trees. In turn, the power of the Grove must be renewed every seven years in a ritual during which a special magical tree seed - a Rosul - is planted in the Grove.
Only now the Rosul seed has been stolen by someone - or something - that has vanished into the Madlands, the realm of humans. Can the outcast Ellouarch boy Kelvarlor find and retrieve the Rosul seed in time to preserve the magic of Emerlyr?
